A unique feature of this unit is a proximity sensor that will activate when you put your hand near the screen to show the control keys. When you move your hand away the keys will disappear and show the main screen.
Another great feature of this JVC double din is that it has a detachable face panel, so that when youleave your car you can take it with you which will help reduce the chance of the stereo being stolen.
Along with the above features it comes with all the standards such as ipod/phone connectivity, usb, and HD and SAT radio. Interestingly the GUI and song information can be displayed in 10 languages.
The JVC KW-AVX830 comes with a MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier, but offers plenty of room to grow with three 5V preamp terminals so you can set up your ideal audio system with this unit as the basis.
