This is a very nice double din car stereo with 7-inch widescreen touch screen, DVD/CD, ipod and iphone capablilties with USB 2.0.
The sound from this unit is good, even with standard speakers and subwoofer. There are presets for everything including rock, r&b, country and so on. Plus you get three custom user settings to play with. Good speakers would make this a great sounding unit, but aren’t totally necessary to start with.
There are numerous settings you can play with to adjust the picture quality, and this screen can give a very crisp image.
To listen to your ipod, just plug it into the usb port and you’ll have full functionality. If you want to watch videos or podcasts, you will need the special adaptor.
There are 18 FM presets and 6 AM, which for me is plenty. Can’t see needing anymore than that, especially since I haven’t listened to AM in 10 years or more.
It handily comes with a remote, so those who find these useful won’t have to make an extra purchase to get it.
Overall, this is a nice unit and would go well in any car.
