Blaupunkt are well known for their audio products. and it is no different when it comes to the Blaupunkt Car Stereo.
Whilst the lineup may not be as extensive as some of the other brands, it’s well worth considering the Blaupunkt if you are an appreciater of good sound quality.
Since we’re interested in the double din car stereo, we are further limited to only one unit out of the ten listed in their current catalog.
But is this such a bad thing, afterall there’s only so many things you can want in a car stereo and they have pretty much all bases covered. So, what does the Blaupunkt New Jersey MP68 offer?
Let’s see. To start with, it is a double din unit and the claim it has impressive good looks. Okay, I’ll give it that, it does look good, however, they have wasted the extra size by not including a full size screen.
It also has the ability to connect to your phone via bluetooth, which is an added plus and for alot of us can come in very handy. You can also access up to 500 entries in the phone book, which is far more than I need.
It can read CD-R and CD-RW, which means you can burn you favourite tracks to CD and throw it in the unit without worry. It can play both mp3 and wma formats and can also connect to your ipod and control it from the inbuilt interface of the car stereo.
Overall, this is a nice unit, and unless you want more functions than what it comes with, you could do a lot worse than this Blaupunkt Car Stereo.
