Adding a sub and sub box to your double din car stereo is an easy way to improve the sound quality of your stereo. Especially if you don’t have to manually build or install it yourself.

Just putting a sub woofer in can give a great boost to the sound, most people are amazed at what this simple addition can do to their listening pleasure. What it does is to bring back that lower register to your music to bring back the balance that was originally intended when it was produced. Another benefit is that it will enable you to reduce the pressure on your other speakers because they won’t be trying to produce that low level sound they weren’t really meant to produce.

If you’ve been put off subwoofers in the past because of the way some people turn them up full to give that thump-thump sound, you don’t need to worry cause you can set at a level that you want, giving you the perfect bass levels for your listening and musical style. Trust me, after you’ve tried it with a good subwoofer, you won’t want to go without again.

Whilst some subwoofers may come with their own sub box, many don’t. And you really do need a good sub box to get the best from your subs. The easiest way to do it, is to buy a box that designed to house the woofers. If you want to go your own way and build one yourself, which I think everyone should try at least once (although be prepared to start again with new subs if you accidentally destroy them in the process), make sure that it’s sealed properly because air leaks can really hurt the woofers performance.

Best of luck, and if you do go your own way and build the box yourself send me the pictures.
