We get these systems that cost us, whether it be a few hundred dollars for a basic system or we go the whole hog and spend tens of thousands of dollars for the top of the range double din car stereo setup. But it always wonder what others are listening to.
Not to be judgemental as such, just to say that music is crap or whatever. After all we all have our own tastes and what I like to listen to may not be everybody’s choice. But by asking and sharing what we are listening to, we can quite often find new music that we may never have heard of if we didn’t ask.
Myself, I’ve been listening to Daughtry a bit, but have been listening more to some of my old favourites like Krokus when I’m in the mood for something hard and fast. For those times when I’m in the mood for something more mellow I’ve been listening to The Barstool Profits. Both of these bands were introduced to me from recommendations of others. I don’t remember hearing of either group on the radio or tv.
So the question for today is, what are you listening to? And remember, don’t be judgemental about this, just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with other people liking it.
Except maybe if it involves the name Beiber ;-P
Okay, I guess I should make a confesion here. I have a two year old, so whenever he’s in the car I do seem to spend more time listening to nursery rhymes than is good for my sanity. What really bothers me about this though is that I’ve been caught several times humming these rhymes to myself.
